G'day,
Just checking in for the first time.
I've been flying 172's and PA28's for about 5 years now.
Thought I better start to learn some new things so about 18 months ago I bought a Pitts S1S project from Indiana and had it recovered and painted by Mark Schamel in Salem,IN.
I then got Mark to package it up in a container and get it shipped over to Sydney, Australia.
Its yet to get fully assembled over here but I'm hoping to get up to speed with an S2* and have my aircraft fully airworthy by the end of this year.
I'm very keen to get into flying a challenging machine.
How many Aussies are on this forum and do you guys have any social fly-ins anywhere?
Some pictures to follow.
Cheers,
Cookie
