    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

On a recent fishing trip I stopped for fuel at a lonely strip in sw Idaho. The radio told me 11 knt crosswind. Need I say more.
It wasn't too bad, scraped the rear 1/4 of the tip bow enough to shear the fabric. Courtesy car to the local trading post for a small roll of duct tape. Carefully exam showed nothing broken. It held fine for the rest of the trip and the 400+ miles home, great stuff.

Can someone send me a small piece of fabric, 6x16 or so. I have everything else I need. poly fibre. I figure someone has a small piece left over, I know I sure have a lot of plywood. If that does not work I know a nice lady that I can steal a nice set of undies with big red hearts on them.

Thanks
