Greetings all,

First off, I'm a new member, but long time reader. Secondly, I'm chasing a dream of flying my own biplane. I took flying lessons, tail wheel training, found a hangar and all I need now is a biplane, the balls to fly it, and the grace of God to watch over me (or a chute). Trouble is, I have no idea what I'm doing. To make a long story short, I need help selecting the right biplane. I would welcome any, and all advice I can get.

I'm 6'1", 210lbs. Like Xcountry, basic aero. Fuel consumption not a major concern. Price target is $30-$50k. Flying skills, lame. However, I do intent training on type. What would you guys suggest?

Thanks!
