I have been building a set of homemade wheel pants to learn composites and paint, so far pretty happy with my product but have a few questions.

1) how fine should I sand the fiberglass prior to applying primer ? 400 grit?

2) wet sand between coats of primer and paint?

3) do your wheel pants have a rear bulkhead, I assume it's for structure and act as a mud flap.
