    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Any suggestions on Amount of Smoke oil to install on a Skybolt, I am not planning on any airshow stuff but if I am going to put it on, I might as well put it on for airshows, or the next owners ambitions.. 3 gals is probably the least, but not enough for a routine, is 4 acceptable? or Should I go for 5? I can be mostly empty when I am practicing, so shouldn't be too heavy...

All thoughts and observations, welcomed and appreciated..
