I've searched through the forums and I can't seem to find a description of how you can definitively tell that a long S1 fuselage, landing gear and tail was built at the Homestead, FL factory.

What's I've gathered from reading through posts.
-True factory-built fuselages were TIG welded
-There were some long fuselage S1 fuselages built with the C style hinges for home builders while the S1-S was in the process of being certified, these were pretty rare (~15 built?)
-S1-E was the full factory kit with the S-type wings
-Way more "factory fuselages" are claimed than were actually built

Is there any type of data plate, stamp or factory mark which will show one way or the other if a given fuselage was indeed built at the factory?

How much value does having one add to a given homebuilt?
