I’m fabricating a brace that supports the accessory adapter (gearbox) on my Warner. This part fits underneath the housing for the oil pump. After removing the nuts and washers the housing doesn’t want to come off. I don’t know if it’s only the gasket or if there is any sealant under it. I think all is normal but ....
How can I best convince the housing to lift off. Should I use some heat? What shouldn’t I do?
Thanks. Figured another set of eyes rather than going hard and fast.
Dan.
