I am building the clipped version (22') of the Skybolt (plans from Steen). Working on the upper spars and am drilling the spars for the al. plates and also the I-strut hole. There is a 5/8 center to center dimension between the 1/4 I-strut hole and the 1" flying wire hole which means they will just touch each other in the center of the spar. When I looked at the standard wing drawing ('90 rev.), the dimension between the 2 holes is 3/4 which will leave 1/8 between the two. Anybody run into this issue that has built the 22' wing version and what did you do? Thinking of moving the I-strut in-board 1/8 to 1/4 inch (would do both top and bottom wing the same). This would leave the flying wire pins per the drawing.
