Picked up my Pitts Sunday before last. As soon as I got it in the air I realized there was an issue. Flew nose high and had to hold high power settings to keep her in the air. Not only that on hard surface was virtually uncontrolable. Finally made it home and this last weekend started checking things out more closely. Come to find out the top wing had dihedral and wash out. Trailing edge tips were at least 8 inches higher than the center of the wing at the trailing edge. I struts seemed to be around 1" to tall and still had shims. A buddy had a couple of I struts we put on her and help a bunch. Pretty much got her rigged, just need to tweak a right wing low issue. So I am looking for a set of I struts and a landing gear for a S1.
