inspection ring

Hi All,

an inspection ring cover decided to depart the wing during an acro session today enlarged the front hole and cracked the rear one...

What are my options on fixing it? Hoping for some "easy" fix where I can attach (glue?) something to the inside without doing fabric work? I will rotate the inspection cover ~15-20' and drill new holes, but looking to do some reinforcement on the inside ? There's a round vinyl patch [from before] around the hole on the outside to prevent further paint cracking/breaking off from the prop wash...
