Fresh from the shop are the three latest models (5,6,7)that I give away at airshows. Flying lead is the original model, designed by my then-9 year old grandson. Flying the slot position is the original production prototype. Flying left wing are S/N 004 and 005, and flying right wing are S/N 006 and 007.
We gave away 004 to a 12-year old boy on Saturday at the Powell (WY) Wings 'n Wheels Fly-in & Car Show. He has a passion for WWII aircraft, his favorite being the B-29 Superfortress. He also knew a lot about the P-51 Mustang. I let him sit in the cockpit of "Unfinished Business", and he named all the instruments, and played with the control stick (undoubtedly while dreaming) for about fifteen minutes. Giving away the model is almost as fun as flying the show.
