    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I talked to a builder in Florida yesterday who happens to be a Knight Twister fan and KT builder. He attended the Sun and Fun and saw the Twister at the Steen tent and spoke directly with the owner of this rare bird. I had originaly heard it was only a static display. But, no. The builder/pilot actually flew it to the show and back home afterward. Supposedly he flew it sometime during the show also. The report is the it flies very nice. It does have some nonstandard changes on it and I've heard from a few that some of the work was kind-a rough. But, if it is kind of rough and flies nice, that has to be a testament to sound design.

The guy I talked to is also going to try, again, to find out information on Hales twister that supposedly lives in Florida now. He has tried contact before but not successful yet. Let's all wish him luck and if anyone else knows anything about Hales twister, any information would be appreciated.
