Todd Peterson posted a cool video yesterday of one of his late 80's airshow flights. Pretty neat watching a CWC do double snaps, inverted spins, tailslides, negative stuff, tumbly things, etc. Well at least we don't see folks flying these airplanes this way anymore. He says this original Harold Krier Cub is a standard J-3 Reed conversion with an O-200 and high comp pistons, doubled wings ribs, PA-11 elevators, solid gear, windscreen reinforcement, and inverted system (of course). Other than occasional broken ribs, he says the airplane held up well for many years flown this way. I've done a good bit of light acro in a CWC, but left most of this kind of stuff for the Pitts.
