    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I am the owner of my second S 1 C.. This new one seems to have much stiffer bungees on the landing gear. It lands like a pogo stick. My first one didn't seem to do that. I can't compress the gear by rocking the wings ( while outside of the cockpit). My first one could have had old worn out bungees causeI bought it used and flew it for several years and I never changed them. How stiff is it supposed to be? My old one wasmuch easier to land, I used to even be able to wheel land it. I wouldn't even begin to try that with my new one.
