Hi all,

My Acroduster had some heavy gauge wire between the gear and the fuselage(see photo), presumably as a safety measure in case the bungees ever snapped. I can't find any reference to this in the plans and was wondering if the original builder added these as a 'belt and braces' measure or whether it was called for by some safety bulletin or Airworthiness Directive? Does anyone have details on what gauge or spec the wire should be? ImageUploadedByBiplane Forum1427134463.881985.jpg
