    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Today while landing at one of my favorite little airports I had another pilot worried he would have to avert or possible run me over on his 6 mile final in a Cessna 172. I crossed over while announcing and quickly announced I was left base to a short final full stop. To which he replied, biplane did you not hear we are now on a 5 mile final straight in? I replied yes Sir, I heard you fine, are you having to divert? I think I threw him with that question, after a bit he came back in a aggravated voice, WE'LL BE LOOKING FOR YOU, to which I replied, I'll be the tiny biplane that just parked at the fuel point.
