    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hey all,
New to the flight game and ready to dive in (my intro has some more info on my background). I've decided partially due to budget but mostly because I'd like to be able to say "yeah, I built her" that I would love to build my own aircraft, I only have a few requirements;

1) 2 Seater Biplane
2) Good cross country
3) Not necessarily aerobatic, but a roll and a loop would be nice now and then
4) Needs to able to get me (5' 10" @ 220 lbs) and a buddy (6'5" @ 220) where we'd like to go with a little bit of luggage
5) Price isn't brutal

My buddy and I have done a lot of welding, fabricating, and mechanical work so difficulty isn't an issue.

Any help/suggestions/recommendations/life advice is welcome!!

Thanks!

Curt
