    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not looking for a really nice Eagle, but I’m trying to help a FedEx buddy find one. He’s looked at several that have been advertised on Barnstormers that have been ragged out and/or misrepresented. He’s looking for a really nice one that’s had the gear mod completed. He’s my longest-time flying friend in the Memphis area, and a great fellow. He built an RV-4 and he restores old Porsches, so he knows and understands good workmanship. If anyone knows of a nice Eagle that’s being under utilized, please reply to this thread, shoot me a PM, give me a call at 901-489-7941, or send me an e-mail at [email protected]. I’ll pass the information along to Kevin. Thanks. (If he can’t find a nice Eagle, he’s willing to consider a nice Charlie model Pitts instead, but his first preference is an Eagle. He’s got his A&P, so he can work on either one, but he prefers the flexibility associated with an experimental versus something with a standard airworthiness certificate. The only thing he likes about the C-Model Pitts is the potential to instruct in it.)
