I’m building the fuselage for my S1D and have a questionabout connecting the 1 1/8″ tube at station zero to the longerons. I’ve seen some photos where thelongerons come through and are plugged at the firewall. Others plugthe 1 1/8” tube on the sides. It’s getsdifficult to see this area on a completed fuselage. I’d like to understand the factory assemblymethod. The plans show the uprights at45 degrees and I’d like to stay true to the plan. I’musing a standard gear, so I need to make sure the assembly method works with astandard gear.
