    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I probably wouldn't have posted this if the outcome was worse for the pilot, but wow he got away with one. Looks like heburied the snap down, turned it into a spin, finally pulledpower to recover, but kept going anothercouple turns. Buthe did the right thing adding power while trying to pull out at very low altitude. I've seen folks close the throttle and pancake hardin similar situations with much worse results.
