I am a new member living in South Africa and I need advice! I am enjoying mild aerobatics in the 160 hp RV-6 I built some years ago. I have a Lycoming O-540 B4B5 which I was going to fit with fuel injection and high compression pistons to give me 260 hp. I am about to order a Sybolt kit for this engine with the intention of pursuing more advanced aerobatics but South African Skybolt owners tell me that the plane flies badly with the heavy 540 and I should rather fit a 200 hp IO-360. I would be grateful for any comments.
