Lubri-bond A is called for as a pre-assembly lube for Lycoming cam & Tappets. Are other MoS2 lubes equal and/or will anyone suggest something else that might be more modern/better. I have some CRC MoS2.

For crank and other bearings Lycoming suggest a mixture of STP and 50 wt. mineral oil which I have used in other places. Do any engine builders suggest anything that might be better like the assembly lubes used by the car guys.

Thanks,

Jack
