    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

N48KB The MA-5 Charger owned and supposedly built by Ken Brock does anyone know the history of this airplane? A friend of mine in Albuquerque NM now owns it , the airplane had an O-360 or an IO-360 with a C/S prop, and was damaged in a landing accident in NM. The engine was sold off he airplane and my friend Larry R now has it through silver an O-320, apparently Ken Brock according to the log books acquired it with about 25 hrs of flight time and finished out the hrs and signed off phase I. Larry thinks that someone else built it perhaps by a guy that did a lot of metal stamping for Ken and made a lot of the parts for Chargers back in the day and because there does not seem to be any other information with the airplane was wondering if anyone was still around or if there was a Marquart historian that may know some of the details? The airplane is a brown copper with Black and white trim if anyone has any other pictures or information about this airplane, please post it. Dave
