    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

The last time I looked at my compass, (something I rarely do) it was swinging back and forth through about 90 degrees with the airplane straight and level. I turned off the radios, alternator and battery with no change in behavior. It does not do that on the ground. I know when I installed it at that location it swung and performed normally a couple seasons ago. I have no glue how long it has been doing thks for.

Has anyone experienced this? I wonder if multiple G over the years broke it?

Thanks
