When Ed Marquardt passed away a couple of years ago, I attended his estate/hangar sale and picked up a project. It had a tag identifying it as a MA-4. It's a little single place biplane with outrigger style landing gear. I got the fuse, gear, 4 wing panels, a fuel tank, and little else. No tail feathers, controls of any type, struts, etc. As was typical of Ed, it's all very well built.
I've tried to find more information on the design, but haven't even been able to find a picture of a completed airplane. I'm guessing that when Ed came out with the MA-5 Charger, the single place MA-4 Lancer sort of slipped into obscurity.
If I can find some information out there, preferably plans, I'd like to finish the project and get it flying. My shop is located in Ed's old hangar at Flabob, so it just seems like the right thing to do.
Anybody?
