The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web.

    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

May 19th Starduster Fly-in at KFCH (Fresno) OK guys, I've got the OK from the city to host an informal Starduster Fly-In here at Chandler Airport in Fresno, CA.

We have the restaurant here (Tailspin Tommy's Aerodrome Eatery) that I can open up to all of you. We have the typical fare of burgers, sandwiches, and salads at the restaurant, plus Geneva and I will stock up on tri-tips and smoke them the day of the event. In addition, I thought we might set up a projector in the main terminal room and have a movie night (The Great Waldo Pepper comes to mind unless someone else has a better suggestion).

This will be an informal event meant to let us all gather and visit. We can help with transportation and finding a hotel for anyone staying over. On the way out Sunday, Don Gutridge mentioned the Oakdale Chacolate festival as a good way to finish off your visit.

Contact me Dave Baxter at [email protected] If you plan on attending. Dave
