    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

but I settled down to read the latest June issue of Sport Aviation, the article about the P-40 restoration. the author uses the term "infamous" in referring to the AVG "Flying Tigers". now I know what "infamous" means and it is not complementary at all. I suppose from the Japanese point of view during that time, it might apply. After thinking about it, I find it hard to believe the author would disparage the AVG, but imho....it sure is a poor choice of words. perhaps I am missing his intent. I am pretty close to firing off an email to the editor ....i.e. WTF? but I thought I would get a sanity check from you guys first.
