I think this is the right sub-forum for this question. I'm going to help a friend with a restoration project and have been looking at the drawings. Problem is I can't find the correct thickness for the aluminum they call for. It says alclad 24ST (2024-T3) with a thickness of .064. I only see .063 and .071 when looking around for sheets. Do we get .071 and plane it down to .064 or spend ungodly amounts of money to have the correct thickness special made?
