What’s your best solutions to keep mice out of your aircraft and/or hanger?

Just got the hanger and it has asphalt in the front but dirt in the rear. Ground hogs are a problem. I’m enclosing it with interior white metal walls and ceiling. Dropping the ceiling height to 10’. That way there’s no where for birds to nest above my plane. Should be able to heat the space a little easier. At least enough to do some work over the winter. I’ll barricade around the walls so the ground hogs can’t get in. I gotta seal the bottom of the door. That’ll be somewhat tricky. But my wings were already full of mice. It seems like they are attracted to places that already has their smell. I’ve washed the wings out with soapy water the best i could. Any suggestions like peppermint spray, or harsh smelling stuff i could use to keep them out?
