Anyone mount a Garmin 82 antenna on a Pitts
I'm thinking of mounting about 1/2 back on the turtle deck
Directions say at least 9 inches from another gps antenna and I have one just aft of the canopy so at the middle bulkhead is about my choice now
Concerned the turtle deck is pretty rounded there
Anyone do this on a biplane and did it work? I have a metal deck
Only other metal I have is on the engine cowl and would have to mount it fwd so wing won't block the signal
Dan
