I got an invoice in the mail today which is very curious. See photos below. It is for "Air navigation and advisory services" in the Caribbean. My N no, N55DP, has been registered to my Pitts S1C since it was built in 1974, and it has been in California for a long time. The FAA shows that my registration is (correctly) up to date.
I also then looked at Flightaware to see if I could track the flight and I noticed too that a Learjet 35, reporting my N no, (and my name), did a little flight in SE Florida last January. Apparently somebody on last Nov 17 was cruising around Trinidad and Tobago and is using my N. no. Or my Pitts is really performing flights that I am not aware of (and I have seen it in my hangar most days this fall and winter). I also noticed on the FAA registration that a Learjet 35 has an N no of N995DP. ATC mistakes?
Other than not paying the bill (which admittedly is not a large amount) does anyone have any ideas on what I should do about this???
