Well today I took the plunge and bought myself an Acroduster 1. I am still going to keep my Starduster TOO but have wanted an Acroduster 1 since the mid 70's when they came out. I looked at the one on Barnstormers in Corona and just couldn't come to a peaceful place about the engine not really being run in 10-15 years. So I bought the white one with the blue and red stars in Modesto, CA. After signing the check I took a quick spin around the patch. It is very easy to fly. Probably much easier to land and take-off than my TOO. And WOW what light controls. I know there has been some interesting things written about these planes but they are simply a delight to fly.
