    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Dismantled the elevator controls on my S1 today and this is how I found my forward idler... I was speechless.

Looking at the original Pitts drawings I realized the original part doesn't have bearings but most importantly, doesn't have lightening holes!

Do anybody know a reliable source I could buy an idler with bearings but WITHOUT lightening holes?

Thanks for your help,

-Dimitri
