    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I just went through the process of changing my N number on the new Pitts. As of last Friday Pitts S-1S 'N 41JV' is now Pitts S-1S 'N 4UP'.

I like the 'UP' numbers and single digit 'UP' numbers can be hard to get....actually any single digit number is hard to get these days . I had '4UP' reserved for a 4 seater RV10 or maybe another RV4. Anyway.....I decided to put the number to good use so I plopped it on the Pitts. I have a signed doc from the FAA to put the number on the plane until they get my signed 'dash 64' back in the mail. Once that is done the local FSDO will send me a new pink slip and updated ops limits.

You like??

Please spare me on the font style and regs......I know....I know :) :).
