Well folks, after nearly 10 years my Pitts took to the air in the most capable hands that I could think of. A huge thank you to Buck Roetman for his help. The only issues are a little right aileron grab when hands off, oil temp is running a little high at 220° and the brakes are a bit soft. Thanks to everyone on here that offered insight and shared their experience.
