My recent purchase, a Pitts S-2BE (experimental) made it to Kansas a few days back. Thanks to my buddy "Tomcat" for bringing it up from FL for me. I have not flown a Pitts in years and I don't think I'd have the stamina to fly that many hours in an open cockpit plane in December. Tom is the man!

The plane has about 100 hrs TT so it is mostly new but with a few rough spots - nothing major. One concern is the condition of the Imron paint. It has just a few minor cracks here and there, but I'm wondering if the cold of KS winters will accelerate the cracking. Anyone have specific information on this topic? Is it possible to seal the cracks with super glue or similar?

Cheers!
Paul Klusman

PS The photo was taken by Tom when the plane was still down in FL. Nice shot I think.
