    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

So I sold my 7ECA to partner in an RV6. The RV6 partnership ended "well" when the partner wanted to upgrade and I could not afford to write a check on his new budget.

Mission: One weekend flight to visit in laws once a month, about 100 NM. About two 500NM trips a year.

Wants: Auto pilot, WAAS GPS to stay current and have some real IFR ability. I don't actually plan to fly IFR, but it would be nice to stay current and get in or out if needed.

Budget: +/-50K

Looking for suggestions on type. For example, I loved flying a BE35, but maybe that is a terrible suggestion because of maintenance. I was just introduced to a Grumman Tiger and found it pretty nice. I realize that I don't have enough experience to know all the types out there.

My experience: 750 hours. 140 Pitts. IFR, high performance 25, complex 27. SES 12.
