As the title states I have a wooden mold for casting the cylinder/head assembly of a radial engine and I am trying to identify which engine it was for. I don't know the first thing about radial engines or airplanes at all but figured someone might be able to help or at least find this piece very interesting. It seems to be very old, has great aging and some sections broken/missing. It was built in two halves for casting. It has one large port on one end which seems to have been the exhaust port and two small ports on each side in the middle of the valves which I am assuming would be for spark? Not sure if rocker and valve springs had a cover or not but doesn't seem to have anywhere for a cover to attach but it does seem to have a spot for the rocker stud. Any information or insight would be greatly appreciated.
