    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Am renting a Pitts S2B but the Intercom is practically unusable for comms between front (me) and rear seat (friend/instructor) . The owner - who only flies solo -is not interested in resolving the problem so am left with trying to find something that can enable both pilots to communicate with each other.

Have tried a motorbike ear-piece intercom underneath the Dave Clarke headset earshells but the wiring is unshielded and the microphone is too sensitive to engine noise.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can use that can be easily installed and removed from the aircraft?

Thanks
