    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I have just reached 100 hours on a Canadian registered Acrosport II. The phase 1 testing was completed last year and I have spent the last year learning how to fly it.

I am looking for someone who has had the aerobatics restriction removed on a Canadian registered AcroSport, bipe or any other amateur built type. I have AMA 549.101A here on my desk. It seems there are two options, do it myself from scratch for a one off certification listing the approved manouvers or see if there is a Type Aerobatic Evaluation that I can piggyback on.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has followed one of these paths.

Cheers,
Chris
