    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Need to set up a new single ground bus to replace the multiple ground points currently located throughout the airframe. Ideally I'd weld a couple of bushings to the frame and bolt a bus bar in but it would be nice if something else could be done so I can avoid welding the finished frame. Could a couple of bare adel clamps be put into place on bare metal to support a bus bar with everything being painted once it's assembled? There's a main ground lug behind the rear seat where the batter negative terminal attaches, would it be better to somehow co-locate the main ground with that battery ground?

Thanks,
Bart
