    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hi folks, looking for the collective opinion of this group. The casting of my Scott 3200 on my Hatz is cracked. A replacement is$300 plus I don’t know what other internal bits I might need when I pull it apart. A new Maule (complete and assembled) with a new tire isn’t much more. I’ve never had a Maule tail wheel but I’m thinking about changing to the Maule. What are your thoughts?

Thanks,
Dave
