So I'm getting more interested in the pitts and while doing research I noticed that the majority of paint schemes are red with white stripes. It also seems like 95% have some sort of variation of a diamond on the front, wheel pants and tail. Could someone enlighten me as to why? Was this the original livery of the first one and no one wants to change?
