Howdy folks! I've been a long time lurker here but am finally getting to a point in life where I can start making moves I've only dreamed of...buying a Pitts!

I've been a pilot for about 4 years now and have done everything from multi-engine to IFR to aerobatics. My favorite has always been aerobatics. Like my dad (ex military pilot) says, it's the most fun you can have with your pants on. Anyway, I'm a couple years out from buying a Pitts S1, but I have some down time and spare cash between now and then. I'd like to build a set of wings in that time. I have already spoken with Chris over at Griggs (big thanks to him for letting me pester him with a million and a half questions).

I just wanted to get any advice I can from the members of this community. My goal is to build a set of wings (I'm a mechanical engineer and a tinkerer so I believe I would enjoy the building) and fit them up to an S1 a couple years down the road after some hours flying some C or S wings.
