    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Wondering what headgear you open-cockpit flyers are using.
In an effort to improve noise reduction and save my hearing, I've tried 3 different passive sets and one active (Lightspeed). I use a cloth helmet in summer and fur-lined leather in winter. Additionally, I've installed the CEP earplugs on my David Clarks but still not satisfied.

Any suggestions short of: A) selling my SD B) installing a canopy, would be appreciated.

Thanks very much. Bud
