I received my first order of wood for the wings from ACS and I think they sent me the incorrect 1/4 ply for the nose ribs. This is my first airplane build so I want to be sure it is correct before I start cutting up the wood. I ordered 1/16 mahagony and 1/4 5 ply birch. The 1/16 looks correct as it is a darker color. However, the outside sheething of the 1/4 looks just like the 1/16. I am no wood expertbut with the little experienceI have andby studying the photos in the gallary the birch should be a color closer to pine. When Iput both thicknesses next to each other I cannot tell which one is which. Is this normal for birch or did ACS send me 1/4 mahagony by mistake?
