    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month the guns were silenced signaling the end of "The War to End All Wars", WW I.

Didn't exactly work out that way.

Today I visited our local Aviation Museum to visit the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall. A flight of AT-6's flew over as I walked out the door of my house. It is overcast with a strong breeze and drizzling rain. The weather seemed appropriate.
I was looking for two names on the wall of a pilot and co-pilot shot down in 66 that never made it home. I found them.

If the traveling wall comes to your town you owe it a visit.
