I'm looking into a Charger for sale in NM (N422DH, if anyone knows it), and the FAA lists its engine as an O-360-A1G6D. The seller and the internet agree that this engine came from a Duchess. Looking for info on dual-mag engines, I remembered this thread: https://www.biplaneforum.com/threads/lyc-a1ad-conversion-to-a1a.20919/#post-254029

Apparently the engine was overhauled in 2010, but to an unknown standard (waiting to see logbooks), so I don't know if the mag was touched or not. It's logged less than 500 hours SMOH. Does that dual mag make this engine a money/grief timebomb waiting to go off? Kinda seems like it does, in terms of the mag needing service at some point.
