    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I have a typical Oil Pressure / Oil Temp gauge - the same as in the S2A with the Oil Pressure in the top half of a 3 1/4 gauge and the oil temp (in F) underneath.

I suspect I'm not the 1st (or the last) but i've damaged the sender for the oil temp, there was a escape of gas and the copper pipe is fractured:eek::eek::eek:.

Can these be fixed ?. Where can you get a new one ?. Is it possible just to buy the sensor - or is the whole thing a sealed system.

I've got that horrible feeling you get when you think something is about to cost you a lot of time & money ..........
