I need to replace the breather tube on my Pitts, but am having difficulty locating a 120 inch long, 3/4 inch 5052-0 Aluminum tube for a reasonable price.
I was considering using PEX tubing instead. It's more flexible and can be any length I need... plus a lot cheaper. Temperature shouldn't be a problem.
I am using smaller PEX tubing for my rudder cable housing through the cockpit area.
And it comes in red, white, or blue...
Thoughts or concerns?

Dan
